Payments/Security

In order to protect payments made upon reservation, we use Paypal as billing platform
managed by worldbedrooms providing to all customers total security in the payment of reservations made.

Secure Payment

1  Authorize the First Rent Payment and booking Fee

Through Paypal you will give authorization to WorldBedrooms to collect the First Rent payment and to the WorldBedrooms Booking Fee. With this we ensure your choice is secure and booked with the accommodation provider. the money will just be paid once the accommodation provider confirms availability.

2.1 2.1 Once the Accommodation Provider confirms the reservation the reservation fees will be charged and we will provide you with all the contacts needed.

We will keep with the First Rent payment until you make the contract with the accommodation provider or after checkin in the housing . Your First Rent is paid and you can work out the details directly with the Accommodation Provider to make your stay a pleasant one.

2.2 2.2 - If your reservation is declined for some reason there will be no cost and will be refund the total amount of the booking request (First rent and Booking Fee).

3  Cancellation after booking confirmation

You can always do the cancellation of your booking. In these cases you need to check the cancellation policy of the accommodation identified on your Reservation Guide.


How to Book?

1 - Search Accommodation

With the search criteria available on the site search for the accommodation that suits your needs.

2 - Submit Request Booking

After finding accommodation click in "Book Now".

2.1 - Fill Personal Data

The WorldBedRooms.com will request some basic information in order to establish the contact between you and the accommodation provider and so that we can be in touch with you to ensure that you have full support during your stay. You can consult the Privacy Policy document to learn more about the data protection.

2.2 Authorize the First rent and Booking Fee

Through Paypal you will give authorization to WorldBedrooms to collect
the First Rent payment and the WorldBedrooms Booking Fee. This is simply the process to block the accommodation request and start the process with the accommodation provider.

3. Validation of the Reserve

Your request for accommodation will be confirmed within 48H period.


FAQs Tenants

1. What should I do to rent an accommodation?

When you have selected your destination, you will be presented with a list of accommodation available on the selected dates. You can analyze every detail of each accommodation in that list. The overview page of each accommodation includes images, guest ratings, housing, opinions and details of the facilities that it provides. You can see the room types available for your dates selected on the right side of the page. Once you have decided where you want to stay, select the room or bed preference, check if the dates are correct and then press the "Book Now" button.

1.2 Authorize the First Rent payment plus Worldbedrooms Booking Fee.

Through Paypal you will give authorization to WorldBedrooms collect the First Rent payment and the WorldBedrooms Booking Fee. This is simply the process to effect your interest in the lease in order to validate, with the accommodation provider that lodging is available.

1.3 Booking Confirmation

Your request for accommodation will be confirmed within a maximum of 48h by the accommodation provider.

1.3.1 - If the accommodation provider confirms the reservation, you will be charged in your card, the amount authorized by you. Subsequently, we send the confirmation email with the contact of the accommodation provider and the details of your booking. Your first rent will be retained by WorlBedrooms up to sign the contract between you and the accommodation provider, or after the checkin in the accommodation. Your First Rent is paid and you can work out the details directly with the accommodation provider to make your stay a pleasant one.

1.3.2 - If your reservation is not accepted by the accommodation provider, the First Rent payment and the worldbedrooms booking fee will not be collected by WorldBedrooms. In this case, you will be contacted by WorldBedrooms with the proposal of new housing in the selected area.

2. Can I search for accommodation by the price?

Yes, but only after selecting a destination and dates for your stay. Once you have entered this information, you will be shown a list of available properties. At the top of the page, you can view a tool "Order by" which includes the option to sort by price accommodation according to the types of acommodations available.

3. How do I search for accommodation with specific facilities such as wi-fi?

After you select your destination and dates of your stay, a list of available accommodations will appear. On the right side of the page you have the "advanced search" option, where you can select categories to help refine your search.

4. Why must I give my personal data?

WorldBedrooms.com asks your personal data to provide it to the accommodation provider in order to establish contact between both. Data are not available for any other purpose. Likewise, you should understand that for the accommodation provider is extremely important because you will be the next person to live in his accommodation.

5. Payments

5.1 Why do I pay the First Rent to WorldBedrooms?

The payment of the First Rent is the effect of interest in the accommodation. The payment of the First Rent, plus the worldbedrooms Booking Fee is the way to make a reservation request to the accommodation provider and to book the accommodation. In fact, the payment is not to WorldBedrooms. The first rent charge it will be transferred to the accommodation provider 24h after date of check in. It will also be a guarantee for you that the accommodation is in accordance with your reservation, and if there are any problems with the accommodation, room or bed just contact us up to a maximum of 24h after check in and the First Rent will be retained by WorldBedrooms.

5.2 After making my reservation, did I get an invoice?

The payment of the First Rent is the effect of interest in the accommodation (house, room or bed, etc.). When proceeding to the reservation request you may have to wait until 48h for confirmation of your order. If the booking is confirmed you will receive notification of the reservation with all the details of your reservation and confirmation that has already paid the first month's rent. If you request, you will be sent the Invoice, allusive to the booking fee charged by WorldBedrooms. The receipt of the First Rent should be requested from the accommodation provider at the time of check in or after contract conclusion, not being WorldBedrooms responsibility for that procedure.

5.3 How do I request an Invoice?

You can contact WorldBedrooms by email and request an invoice for your booking fee. In regards rent invoice you should contact the accommodation provider.

5.4 The Accommodation provider requires a deposit or prepayment?

There are some accommodation providers who upon arrival require the payment of a deposit. They can also request for guarantors or in some cases may require full payment for the whole stay in the absence of guarantors. These conditions are set by the Accommodation Provider and listed in the accommodation details in the "Booking Terms" field.

5.5 Rents are paid to whom?

The WorldBedrooms transfers your first rent to accommodation provider 24h after your check in. All the upcoming payments are set between you and the Accommodation Provider.

5.6 Which payment options I have?

The WorldBedrooms works with PayPal. Although we work with the most payment methods (Visa, Master Card, Amex, etc.) we find that Paypall is the securest method for payment and for the first payment the money just leave your PayPal account once the Accommodation Provider confirms the booking.

5.7 How to make a reservation using PayPal?

To make a reservation at PayPal in the “details page” or “check-out”, select 'PayPal'. By clicking on "Check out with PayPal" you will be redirected to the PayPal site to complete the procedure.

6. What is the booking fee?

It is the rate that WorldBedrooms charges the client and is related to the administrative costs of booking. 

7. What if I want to know more about a specific accommodation?

There is a “contact us” option on our website if you want to know anything else that you can find in the description. Do not hesitate to contact us for any questions about accommodations available on WorldBedrooms.

8. Can I visit the accommodation before renting it?

Not every time this will be an option and it depends from the Accommodation provider (AP). 

9. Can I contact the accommodation provider before booking?

The WorldBedrooms only provides the contact between you and the Accommodation Provider after the booking is accepted by the Accommodation Provider. At that stage we provide all the contacts so that you can get in touch with the AP to adjust any detail to making your stay the most comfy possible. We will be always available to clarify any questions you have.

10. Do I need to register myself on the Website just to search accommodations?

No. You don’t need to do any registration to search for accommodation. However, to request an accommodation it will be necessary to obtain some basic information about yourself and collect your contacts. In this case, you must make your registration to be able to exchange information between you and the AP.

11. What if my reservation request is not accepted?

If this happens no money will be taken from your account and we will send you a list of suggestions of similar accommodations that might interest you.

12. What happens if I don’t receive a reply in 48 hours?

In this case we will contact you directly making sure we follow up with you and get in contact with the AP to check if there’s any issue.

13. What if I have any problems with the accommodation after renting it?

If you find the place not in accordance with the details shown on the website WorldBedrooms will immediately contact your AP. There is a period of 24 hours from the date of Check In to confirm that everything is in accordance with the house you rented. If there is a problem, WorldBedrooms won’t issue the first payment until the problem is resolved and if there’s no way to resolve the problem in a short period of time the booking will be canceled and you may choose another AP with no payment made.

14. Cancellation

14.1 May I cancel my reservation?

Yes you can. Please read the cancellation policy defined by the AP before you book. You should communicate as soon as possible to WorldBedrooms and AP, your intention to cancel the reservation. Depending on the policy set by the AP the first rent can be refunded in full, partially or not reimbursed. However Worldbedrooms booking fee will never be refunded unless the accommodation is not according the standards.

14.2 Cancellation Types
Option a) FLEX Cancellation


- Up to 60 days before check in - return to 100% of the first rent.
- Between 60 days and 30 days of check in - return of 50% of the first rent.
- The last 30 days until check-in - total loss of the first rent.

Option b) NOT-FLEX Cancellation



In this option there is no return of the first rent.
Note: For the cancellation options presented the booking fee is not returned.

14.3 Where can I find the accommodation cancellation policies?

The cancellation of information specific to the accommodation is included in the description of the accommodation in the "Cancellation policy". Specific information relating to your booking will also be included in your confirmation and on the reservation confirmation email.

14.4 Can I cancel the reservation after check in?

You have 24h after check in to claim your reservation if the accommodation rented does not meets to the description on the site. If you find the place not in accordance with the details shown on the website WorldBedrooms will immediately contact your AP. There is a period of 24 hours from the date of Check In to confirm that everything is in accordance with the house he rented. If there is a problem, WorldBedrooms won’t issue the first payment until the problem is resolved and if there’s no way to resolve the problem in a short period of time the booking will be canceled and you may choose another AP with no payment made.

14.5 How do I know that my reservation was canceled?

After your reservation has been canceled you receive an email confirming the cancellation. Check your inbox and Spam/Trash. If you have not received this email please get in touch with us.

15. Can I leave the accommodation earlier than the expected date?

This is a subject between you and the AP. This announcement should be made as soon as possible.

16. The booking Fee is refundable?

No. Once the reservation request is accepted, the booking fee is non-refundable unless your booking request is not accepted by the AP for any reason. In this case the booking fee will be fully refunded.
